World Methodist Evangelism is bringing together leaders in Evangelism/Mission in the Methodist Movement on the Continent of Africa, from Cairo to Cape Town and Dakar to Durban from 1-8 December, 2012.
During the past few years the World Methodist Evangelism Institute has held a series of Summits for Evangelism in the Methodist Movement. The Africa Summit is the latest in a series of gatherings that have also taken place in Havana, Cuba, Singapore and in the United Kingdom.
The African Summit for the Methodist Movement in Africa will focus on vision and strategy:
120 LEADERS FROM THE CONTINENT OF AFRICA
AFRICA – THE CONTINENT OF LIGHT
THAT THE WORLD MAY KNOW JESUS CHRIST
AFRICAN METHODIST UNIVERSITY
OLD MUTARE, ZIMBABWE
1-8 DECEMBER, 2012
The theme of the meeting is “ONE FAMILY WITH ONE MISSION.” Attendees will vision and strategize together and share resources for spreading the gospel across the continent.

World Methodist Evangelism believes that Africa is a Continent of Light. Across the continent our people are leading persons in faith to know the transforming grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. We ask you to join us in prayer as we plan and prepare for this gathering of leaders from the West, North, East and South on the Continent of Africa.
