The Association of Methodist Brigades (AMB) will celebrate their 25th Anniversary 26-31 August 2015, at Igbobi College in Nigeria. The Methodist Church Nigeria (Diocese of Lagos West) will serve as the host for this historic event.
The Association of Methodist Brigades is the umbrella body for The Boys’ Brigade Companies and The Girls’ Brigade Companies in the Methodist Church. The organization was established in August 26, 1990, to enhance the formation of new Companies, to revive inactive ones, and to ensure effective participation of the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigades in the life of the Church. The AMB currently operates in Nigeria and Ghana with an impact reaching as far as Kenya, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Liberia and South Africa. The first Association of Methodist Brigades International Conference was held in August 2011 at Obuasi, Ghana, and the first AMB International Camp was held in August 2012 at Ikorodu, Nigeria.
Fraternal delegates are asked to arrive at Murtalar Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 where they will be conveyed to the Camp site. Camp fee is $100.
