The United Methodist Church in Côte d’Ivoire concluded celebrations for the National Week of Laity on October 18, 2015 with a worship service at Temple Galilée du Plateau. The National President of the Laity, Prof. Louis ABOUA, spoke to the local Methodist Radio Program “Voice of Hope” about the celebrations and highlights from the week including a seminar to help women entrepreneurs and small businesses owners, business meetings, performances by the children and youth organizations, and a football tournament. Plans were made to hold a workshop to bring together presidents of the laity from the various Districts.
